These Terms of Service govern your use of HealthVitae, including the mobile app, APIs, websites, and related services. By using HealthVitae, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our misuse or negligence.

2. HealthVitae Is Not Medical Care

HealthVitae is a software tool for organizing health information, wellness tracking, and AI-assisted summaries. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Always seek qualified professional care for medical concerns, and call local emergency services for emergencies.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the service in violation of law or regulation.
• Do not attempt to probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service or its billing systems.
• Do not upload malicious content, stolen data, or content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not rely on AI output alone for urgent or safety-critical decisions.

4. AI Features and Limitations

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before acting on them. HealthVitae may change AI models, service tiers, or providers over time to improve quality, speed, reliability, or cost.

5. Credits, Purchases, and Billing

• HealthVitae may offer AI credits, consumable purchases, or similar virtual usage balances.
• Credits are a limited license for use within HealthVitae and are not bank accounts, stored cash balances, or redeemable for real-world currency except where required by law.
• Prices, credit packages, and usage rates may change prospectively.
• Refunds, chargebacks, and purchase disputes may be handled according to app store rules and applicable law.

6. User Content

You retain rights in content you upload, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, analyze, and display your content as needed to provide HealthVitae features.

7. Privacy

Your use of HealthVitae is also governed by the Privacy Policy available at /privacy-policy.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or enforce these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

9. Disclaimers

HealthVitae is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not expressly provided in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HealthVitae and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to HealthVitae in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
